The Old Seaport Alliance will be hosting a special Night Market at the Fulton Stall Market on May 30th. The night market is the latest event from the Old Seaport Alliance. The organization was founded in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. As the neighborhood has changed, so has the mission of the organization. Originally founded as a merchant’s association, the mission has shifted to a neighborhood improvement organization, with the mission of unifying, improving and promoting its neighborhood and local businesses, beautifying and enhancing the streetscape, and enriching the unique historic seaport community through increased programming of its public spaces. According to Whitney Barrat, the Executive Director of the Old Seaport Alliance, the group “seeks to honor the spirit of the Seaport’s past while advocating for its growth, progress, and resiliency.”

The inaugural event will feature local artisans and wine and refreshments from local restaurants. There will be a fundraising raffle with proceeds going to support Seaport Alliance programs.

The night market will be on Saturday, May 30th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Cannon’s Walk, which is located at 207A Front Street in the Old Seaport District.
