In celebration of AMC‘s hit show Mad Men returning for its final season on April 5, NYC will be hosting a dining week from March 23-29th at many restaurants city wide, as well as debuting an exhibition opening up at the Museum of the Moving Image on March 14th.

While we’re sad to see one of our favorite shows say good-bye, Mad Men dining week and this exclusive exhibition are something you definitely do not want to miss!!

Starting on March 23rd, participating restaurants will be offering a prix fixe two-course lunch or two cocktails for only $19.69 (the price reflects the year in which the last season of the show will take place). Delmonico’s, Morton’s Steakhouse, and Tribeca Grill are among the restaurants downtown that will be participating in the promotion.

So gear up, and bring in the new season of Mad Men with a fantastic lunch or Don Draper approved cocktails at one of your favorite restaurants!

Also in honor of Mad Men‘s final season, this exhibition, titled “Matthew Weiner’s Mad Men” will explore the creative process behind the show. Featuring large scale sets from the hit show including Don Draper’s office and his kitchen from his Ossining home, more than 25 iconic costumes, props, video clips, advertising art and more, the exhibition offers a unique insight into the precise storytelling and vivid detail of the series’ origins.

Visitors will also be able to see notes and research material collected by creator Matthew Weiner, and how he was able to portray a storyline that captured the essence of the time period in which the show was set, and the creation of such remarkable characters that lived through it. The museum will also feature An Evening with Matthew Weiner and a film series featuring movies that inspired the show, hand selected by Weiner.

You will not want to miss this exhibition, so be sure to book your tickets and visit the museum before the exhibit closes on June 14th.
