WEEKLY MOVING TIP FROM FLATRATE #15

by | Sep 10, 2015 | Downtown Living

FlatRate has all the resources to make sure that your move is as seamless as possible! These include great tips that you can use on your next move:

Packing Old Records

Vinyl is back! Didn’t you hear? Even in the age of MP3s and Spotify, the sound quality and nostalgic value of records is in demand. So that means you should keep your old records. Move them to your new house. The key is do it just as carefully and delicately as packing Faberge eggs. These records are dependent on attentive care in order to keep them humming at their musical peak. Scratches, bends or fractures are the death knell for vinyl. You need acid-free paper and a sturdy sleeve for each record as well as heavy duty boxes to prevent breakage as they get transported.
