Weekly Moving Tip From FlatRate #14

by | Sep 7, 2015 | Downtown Living

FlatRate has all the resources to make sure that your move is as seamless as possible! These include great tips that you can use on your next move:

Packing up DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes

This is not so much different from packing books. But the cargo is certainly more delicate. If you have the original packaging that is the ideal situation. You can stack the items in small or medium-sized boxes. Don’t go to big with the boxes because they can get very heavy if you stuff too many CDs or DVDs in there. Allow some room for crushed paper or bubble wrap, so your media will be a little bit more protected when the boxes are being jostled around in the truck.
