This Weekend at the Fulton Stall Market

fulton stall market

The Fulton Stall Market operates an indoor farmers’ market on Saturdays from 9am to 4pm and on Sundays from 10am to 3pm year-round. Located at 207A Front Street including historic Cannon’s Walk, the Fulton Stall Market continues the Seaport’s long history of connecting local residents-in the Seaport and beyond-to local foods. A daily market shop operates from 11-5pm.

Producers include Bobolink Dairy, Sun Fed Beef, Breezy Hill Orchard, American Pride Seafood, Beth’s Farm Kitchen and GrowNYC Youthmarket. These vendors will provide a bounty of locally produced and sourced dairy, beef, cider, seafood, jams and jellies, and produce.

In addition to delicious local foods, Fulton Stall Market will soon offer nutrition education programming to school groups during the week. This programming will be provided by Youthmarket who will also serve as the market’s produce vendor on Saturdays. Workshops will center on the benefits of eating fresh, local foods, the importance of knowing where our food comes from, and easy ways to digest the information that food companies put out to consumers.

The Seaport has always been a place where New Yorkers have come to buy their food and to connect with the producers who make and sell it. Fulton Stall Market is the latest iteration of this marketplace where past and present collide. The re-invigoration of this historic space as a modern day local farmer’s market is a very exciting development for consumers, for producers and for the Seaport community at large.

There is also children’s programming, educational workshops, chef demos from local restaurants as well as music performances from local artists and more.
