Ricky Superstar, street performer extraordinare, woos the crowd with his ability to rollerblade while juggling a basketball. Typically located in Central Park, Ricky Superstar also makes appearances in a number of parades located throughout New York City and New Jersey and plans on making his presence more known in Lower Manhattan.

He realized his skills while playing pickup basketball with his friends. His basic basketball skills of dribbling and shooting quickly escalated to a number of tricks. Just when he thought he performed to his highest abilities he added the element of roller blades. His natural talents and physical abilities of speed and balance amazes his many fans.

Ricky is inspired by his fans. “I love looking up into the crowd to see people enjoying my performance, it makes me want to travel to other places and bring different groups of people joy.” Recently, he starred in a promotional YouTube video for the Veterans Ticket Foundation, a non-profit organization that offers free tickets to sporting events and concerts for veterans and their family. He sported red, white, and blue while carrying an American flag during his performance in thanks to the veterans. Ricky Superstar hopes to become more known in the downtown area and star in more videos benefitting different organizations.
