Daphne Cheng’s imaginative approach to food expands out of the kitchen and into the many creative minds in NYC. Through her event space Exhibit C, she and her team of chefs and creatives curate events that celebrate food and culture. Specializing in haute vegetable cuisine, Cheng, as well as a community of talented chefs, throw dinners, events and seminars that invite guests to be inspired by the food, the themes and one another. They also serve as a venue for meals, fundraisers photoshoots and plenty of other festive undertakings.

The creative conglomerate melds an open opportunity-filled ethos with an incognito air. Their past events have included a ‘High Society’ dinner complete with music and an extravagant five-course meal; a steamy singles event that injected the ‘spicy’ theme into their food and guest list, and a food tech event that showcased innovative chefs’ cooking techniques. Their membership program also offers access to their many covert events and discounts on culinary classes.

In terms of future endeavors, Cheng alludes to expanding Exhibit C’s programing and offering even more events and  themes. With the excitement and secrecy that are swirled into the events, one connate help but want to explore what the space has to offer.
