There’s nothing more admirable than the art of philanthropy. On Wednesday, June 21, The Children’s Cancer & Blood Foundation (CCBF) held their seventh-annual Contemporary Art Auction to raise funds for pediatric cancer patients.

Phillips Auction House on Park Avenue offered a sleek atmosphere for guests to sip cocktails and browse the artwork on display. The event featured works by many famous artists including Guido Argentini, Wayne Gonzales, Peter Halley, Candida Hofer, and Zhang Huan. CCBF proudly announced that the night was their most successful auction to date. CCBF chairperson, Les J. Lieberman, said, “the funds raised from the evening help CCBF ensure that all of our patients receive care regardless of their ability to pay.” All proceeds were donated to the Division of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
