The New York’s Botanical Garden Orchid Show: Key West Contemporary

orchid-evenings-rev-1440x500 The Gates to the Garden have opened at the New York Botanical Garden with the 12th annual Orchid Show: Key West Contemporary. Running until April 21, the Garden and its Enid A. Haupt Conservatory will be transformed into a masterful artwork of orchids from around the world, displaying the flowers and other fauna. Along with the orchid exhibition there will also be other attractions such as a Key West Poetry Walk and Orchid Evenings.

The Haupt Conservatory with its Victorian style design is the perfect setting to host the delicate orchids and allow them to naturally blend in with the surrounding atmosphere. They will Be showcased throughout the Palms of the World Gallery, the Tropical Rain Forest Galleries, and the Aquatic Plants and Vines Gallery.
In the Seasonal Exhibition Galleries, the centerpiece of The Orchid Show: the Key West Contemporary exhibition features a green garden wall and a fountain flowing into a pool with stepping stones.

For the best experience and a romantic night out, every Saturday until April 19 will offer an evening of cocktails, fine cuisine and music. Every evening, a special cocktail will be highlighted  such as the The Key West Lemonade, The Pomegranate Sparkler, and The Desert Sun.Tickets for the evening include a complimentary cocktail and special dinner offered with the restaurant partnered for the evening.

Non-Member $30/Member $20 (Adults 21 and over) Advance tickets recommended; includes one specialty cocktail Start the night off with a champagne pre-party at Shop in the Garden on select nights from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
