There is an oasis of health, fitness and wellness in Midtown East and it’s easily found at 328 East 61st Street.

The gleaming edifice owned by Hirschfeld Properties serves up big benefits to anyone looking to up the ante on their physical and psychological well being.

The building already housed a popular Fred Astaire Dance Studio, The Ballet Club, The Sotokan Karate Dojo and Earth Yoga … offering the neighborhood a wide diversity of health-oriented activities not seen anywhere else in New York City.

Now, the newest tenant, TS Fitness has just signed on to add the final jewel to the entire fourth floor of the building, with gleaming new facilities spread out over 3,000 square-feet on the fourth floor of the East Side’s state-of-the-art health multiplex!

“With Equinox right next door, this definitely makes East 61st Street THE destination for wellness,” says Alex Karas, the broker at Bond New York Real Estate who helped TS find the perfect location for their needs.

“We worked closely with Mr. Hirschfeld and their team who ensured that he would be able to provide the best accommodations for TS to offer up a premier facility for its clients.”

Karas worked with Jesse Topal and Elliot Zelinger from Savitt Partners who represented Hirschfeld Properties on the deal, and ensured that the build-out would accommodate the full suite of fitness programs, classes and equipment that TS needed to maintain it’s reputation as one of the finest destinations in the city.

“It wasn’t an easy proposition,” says Karas. “TS wanted stay in the same area and if it was going to be an upper floor space it had to have elevator access, tall ceilings, along with water to accommodate the need for high-end locker and bathing facilities. Savitt and Hirschfeld delivered all of that and more.”

TS will swing open its doors in 8 – 10 weeks and will add a new luxury option to a neighborhood which also offers provides elegant options in shopping across categories and price points, (Bloomingdales, Bed, Bath & Beyond, TJ Maxx); a short stroll to the East River Esplanade in one direction and Central Park in the other; multiple dining destination and the Lexington Avenue Subway line

“TS certainly benefits from all of that, but I think the real benefit is to the people of this community who can now find the answer to nearly all their fitness options in one location,” says Elie Hirschfeld.

“I’m just proud we could provide both the gym and the community what they truly needed.

It’s great to say that we were a big part of that.”
