The new Fulton Center recently opened up, and while the excitement may have died down, it’s certainly time to get hyped all over again. Plans are in motion to open up a Shake Shack within the center. Famed for their burgers and shakes, the new opening will drive major traffic in such a prime and convenient location filled with commuters.

The new opening marks yet another great chain of burgers available downtown. Inexpensive eats and treats will be available to all, eventually, though dates upon construction have yet to be released. The tip was revealed by a couple of security guards patrolling within the station. When asked about the potential opening by a Tribeca Citizen reporter, the guards responded with “not yet” and “soon,” leaving many of us extremely hopeful. This will be the 11th Shake Shack to open in Manhattan.

Shake Shack burgers are known for their taste, and the lack of antibiotics and hormones are surely an added bonus. They also cater to vegetarians with their slow cooked portobello burgers.

This will be the second Shake Shack to arrive downtown but one thing is for sure, the lines will be infamously long for a taste of their iconic shack sauce and milkshakes. The new installment will be yet another option in the massive lunch scene available within the Financial District downtown.
