The School of American Ballet (SAB) will be hosting their 2015 Winter Ball at the David H. Koch theater on Monday, March 9, which will be sponsored by famous French jewelers Van Cleef & Arpels for the eighth consecutive year.

The ball is an annual black-tie dinner dance that is attended by more than 500 patrons, including the School’s board members and alumni, as well as leaders from the New York corporate and social communities. The highlight of the evening will be a performance put on by advanced students at the School, and will be choreographed New York City ballet dancer Peter Walker. The dance is created specifically for the event every year.

The event this year will celebrate SAB co-founder George Balanchine’s affinity for the unique spirit and energy of America. The theater will be decorated in a fun and whimsical way, drawing inspiration from the Pop Art era and the 70’s revival.
