A new movie theater is opening up on 7 Ludlow St. that will feature cult films, foreign cinema and documentaries. Metrograph will be a prospective home for fans of independent films; the theatre plans to show movies via digital projection and 35 mm film. An inaugural schedule of the various pictures that will be shown in Metropgraph’s two theatres has already been released. It will open in February to host private events and will begin its programming for the public in March.

In addition to the two theaters, the space will also offer an early 1900’s-themed dining area, a bookstore and a café. The entire conglomeration will be a celebration of cinema and as it is explored through many different art forms/ movie mediums. More info about the theatre’s opening can be found on their website and a complete list of their premier programming is available on DNA Info.
