Stand Up For a Cure or burst out laughing; either way it is sure to be a good time for a good cause.

Comedian, Ryan Reiss, is hosting the “Stand Up For A Cure!” event along with fellow comedians, Angelo Lozado, hailed as one of the top 50 Latino comedians, Vladimir Caamano, an NBC Standup for Diversity Finalist, and Carmen Lynch, a former semi-finalist on two seasons of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Proceeds from the event benefits the Icla da Silva Foundation.

The mission of the Icla da Silva Foundation is to recruit bone marrow donors and provide support/ services to children and adults with leukemia and other diseases treatable by marrow transplants.

Started in 2007, the Stand Up For A Cure organization works to produce concerts and special events to benefit various causes and organizations. Previous Stand Up For A Cure events have featured everything from a performance from Jerry Seinfeld to paddle board competitions.

The show is Wednesday, May 27 at the Gotham Comedy Club. Tickets are $25 and you must be 18 or older to attend.

The club is located at 208 West 23rd Street in the Vintage Lounge showroom.
