Jurassic Park Movie Night in Riverside Park South Tonight

by | Jul 1, 2015 | Culture, Movies

Tonight, venture to Pier 1 in Riverside Park South for the Summer on the Hudson Picture Show: Jurassic Park. The film will start after sunset when the screen is visible (i.e., 8:30 p.m. according to weather.com), but seating will open at 6:30 p.m. Dogs are welcome and picnic dinners are fostered.

Summer on the Hudson is an annual outdoor arts and culture festival that hosts free events in Riverside Park through the summer. Hatha yoga lessons, Tai Chi classes, karaoke—as well as several more film nights are a few highlights on the schedule this year. Pre-registration is usually not required, but be sure to check the event page before showing up.

There will be 250 chairs at the Jurassic Park screening tonight and they are expected to fill by 7:30 p.m. Ground seating is available in front and behind of the chair section, but be heedful of the hard pier floor. Lawn chairs are allowed in the back and reserving seats for friends is allowed.
