This May NYCxDESIGN is back for their fourth year! From May 3-17, take part in New York City’s annual citywide celebration of all things design. By creating a collaborative platform for cultural and commercial opportunities NYCxDESIGN upholds the city as one with one of the most vibrant and creative design scenes.

During the two weeks, designers will be setting up events, installations and showcases as well as talks, launches and open studios all over the city. There will be plenty to choose from with over 500 registered events already.

You can find all the events and see the contributors and partners such as Pratt Institute and the Society of Illustrators by visiting their website. Check out Sight-Unseen, a collective who will be displaying work from five up-and-coming design studios at Skylight Clarkson Square from May 4-8 or look over ICFF’s program filled with great interior and notable product launches at Javits Center from May 14-17.

Among others you’ll also find Snarkitecture, an innovative group of designers exploring the boundaries between art and architecture. For NYCxDESIGN’s celebration they’ve set up an installation depicting the “new” downtown at Design Pavilion at Astor Place Plaza from May 7-15.
