English punk rocker Billy Idol will be performing at Pier 97 at 6:00 p.m. on May 29. Idol is famous for songs such as “White Wedding,” “Dancing With Myself,” and “Rebel Yell.” He recently released an album titled “Kings & Queens of the Underground,” his first new album since 2005.

Idol was a member of multiple bands, including Bromley Contingent and Generation X. However, Idol went solo for a number of years. While he did release a few albums with guitarist Steve Stevens, former KISS manager Bill Aucoin and producer Keith Forsey, he is once again a solo act.

Idol published his autobiography “Dancing With Myself” in October of 2014. The rocker is now almost 60 years old, and in an interview with Dailymail says he is “clean and soberish.”

If you’d like to see this classic rocker live on his Kings and Queens of the Underground Tour, be sure to buy tickets to his show at Pier 97 on May 29.
