A Day Of Love And Healing — a charity event being held on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Governors Island — will feature yoga, sound, art, pilates and healing.
The event was created by Christine Dimmick, the founder of The Good Home Co. to spread love and wellness during a time of increased violence. Christine called upon friends who are top artists, yogis and healers, and all generously agreed to participate and donate their services for the event because they all believe in raising consciousness to love.
Attendees are invited to bring a mat, take a class and raise the vibration. All proceeds go to charity, of which there are three hand-picked charities. Each charity was chosen not just for their efforts in making a difference, but to change the paradigm and show others a new path. These charities are sundarafund.org, freshair.org and mindfulschools.org.
