The Union Square Holiday Market Returns

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we all know what that means. The holiday season is upon us. To us, this means big coats, holiday shopping, hot chocolate and ice skating. Among other things. Because there are so many good things to do in New York City over the holidays! One of Downtown’s favorites is the holiday markets that pop up all over the city.

Tomorrow, the Union Square Holiday Market returns. It’ll set up shop in Union Square Park and will be around until Christmas Eve! A New York staple for over two decades, Union Square Holiday Market will feature over 150 merchants as well as a new Citi Holiday Lounge as part of the inaugural year of Citi’s sponsorship of Urbanspace. The Citi Holiday Lounge will feature hot chocolate, charging stations and warming stations courtesy of Citi.

There’s a certain magic over these markets. As you slowly peruse through the vendors, you’ll find it has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for decorations, jewelry or toys — you’ll find it. And then, of course, are the bites and beverages. Whichever mood you’re in, you can get it. Sweet or savory, heavy or light. We can’t wait to grab a dessert jar of Jars by Dani, or the rice balls from Arancini Bros, oh and Bao By Kaya‘s delicious Taiwanese street food. Wait, what were we talking about?

Right, the Union Square Holiday Market! It’s open Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. See the full list of vendors here.
