Iconic New Yorker Elie Hirschfeld named Mizzen+Main’s “Man of the Week.”

Renowned New York Developer, philanthropist, athlete and patron of the arts, Elie Hirschfeld has been honored by high-end Men’s Brand, Mizzen+Main as “Man of the Week!”

Hirschfeld, who recently competed and finished near the top of his age division in the New York City Triathlon, joins such other brand honorees as Brian Hartline, wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, who’s story was the basis for the film Lone Survivor, and Ian Desmond, shortstop for the Washington Nationals.

“This is a tremendous honor for me from a fashion brand which is rightly hailed for it’s quality, but also as a company that gives back as its work with our veterans demonstrates,” says Hirschfeld.

Mizzen+Main launched the “Shirt for a Start” program to both hire veterans and give paid job training opportunities to them with exposure to the startup world and experience in logistics, design, sales, and more.

It is also a strong supporter of the Navy SEAL Foundation and One Team One Fight.
