The TCS New York City Marathon, which has grown to be the world’s biggest marathon, is fast approaching. On Sunday, November 1, the marathon will start in Staten Island, go through all of the boroughs and end in Central Park.

The New York City Marathon started in 1970 and has grown to include over 50,000 finishers. With prizes, sponsors, and more, it has grown larger with every passing year.

Recently, the NYRR has been attempting to make the marathon more environmentally friendly. This year’s recycling efforts will build in the direction to keep the earth clean.
