What if there was one workout that would give you that cardio burn, and at the same time overload your muscles into growth and definition?

REZIST will engage every muscle, every joint, while burning fat and calories through its constant succession of timed multi-joint exercises. Each exercise is carefully constructed and sequenced to blend upper and lower body movements with a plyometric and cardiovascular burn.

Kirk Fitness Trainer KC McLoughlin worked hard to become a Rezist-certified instructor.

KC McLoughlin, an amazing trainer from my personal training team is a REZIST certified instructor, and sums up the program, this way: “All I can say about REZIST is that it’s intense, hits the entire body and can intensify as much you want by shortening the rest period and increasing the weights.”

There is already the P90X and INSANITY home workout DVDs out there, so what makes this REZIST stands out?  Here is the breakdown of a sample workout from REZIST, just reading through it may start to make you sweat so imagine going through it at home.

Here’s a summary of the workout!

• 3 minutes dynamic warm-up

• 20 exercises in total

• 60 seconds per exercise

• 20 second rest in between each exercise = 6minutes 30sec rest total

• 3 minutes cool-down

Total Time: 32 minutes

DOWNTOWN’S Health and Fitness Editor Kirk Myers, struggled with childhood obesity and hit bottom when he ballooned to 300 pounds and suffered congestive heart failure when he was still a college student of 21. Through hard work, diet and determination, Myers dropped 125 pounds and has become one of most sought-after trainers of celebrities, athletes and other Downtowners at the Gotham Gym NYC. He finds himself ‘irrezistable,’ but we have no trouble avoiding him whenever possible.
