32nd Annual Seaport District Tree Lighting

by | Nov 30, 2015 | Events, Family

To get in the holiday spirit, you don’t have to go all the way up to Rockefeller Center.

On Tuesday, December 1, the South Street Seaport District will be hosting the 32nd Annual Seaport District Tree Lighting ceremony. As they light their giant 60-foot tree, music will be provided by groups such as  Mariners’ Temple Baptist Church choir and American Idol winner Nick Fradiani. Lauren Scala of NBC 4 New York will be hosting the event.

And before the lighting, don’t miss out on a chance to see the famous Santa Claus himself! For three hours, he will be taking pictures with visitors at Seaport Studios.
