Jackie Mason Lives Again returns to the stage in a laugh-out-loud musical based on a true story. Produced by the New York Comedy Festival, the show stars Jackie’s real-life daughter, comedienne Sheba Mason, alongside Ian Wehrle, whose uncanny resemblance to the late comic adds an extra layer of fun.
Set in Miami Beach from 1977 to 1987, the musical captures the humor, heart, and chaos of Jackie’s rise to Broadway fame as his romantic escapades unfold and his daughter, Sheba, is born. Audiences can expect a “soaring” original score featuring songs like “Ode to the Early Bird Special,” “The Finger,” and “I Never Met This Yenta.”
Performances take place at The Triad Theater (158 W. 72nd St.) on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 2:00 PM, Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9:30 PM, and Sunday, Nov. 16 at 8:00 PM.
