This small ice cream shop has been a big attraction in Chinatown since its opening in 1977. The flavors featured are outside the normal variety found in American ice cream shops. Customers can try lychee, red bean, pandan, and green tea, just to name a few. Ice cream cakes, milkshakes, and Ice Cream Factory T-shirts are also available. The factory is a family business currently owned by Christina Sied, who told Downtown that the ice cream is, and always has been, made and flavored by the family themselves. Each flavor has its own authentic recipe, with the lychee ice cream is flavored with real lychee, and the green tea ice cream being made with real tea, for example. For an ice cream experience unlike any other, be sure to stop by and try one of the many Factory flavors
