Although we always fancy Chanel’s beauty products and lines, their 2015 Spring Collection is making us anticipate the warmer weather even more than usual. Part of the reason being the blistering cold winds, but the other reason is based on the beautiful color collection they chose for this particular line. The Spring 2015 beauty collection is inspired by Parisian gardens blooming in the springtime. The color palette ranges form both delicate and vibrant corals to deep shades of pink.
Chanel uses the perfect balance of vibrant and neutral in there different products. This season Chanel is using the standout colors to highlight the lips. The vibrants shades of the glosses, lipsticks, and liners work together to enhance this part of the face. The Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick is now made in a bright coral red called “Insaisissable” and a soft pink called “Badine.” The Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick is also made in new hues, “La Pétillante,” another popular coral red color and “La Romanesque,” a dark fuchsia.
To keep the pop of color on the lips, it is important to keep the complexion and eyes natural. The Jardin de Chanel blush compact, is perfect for this concept with its two soft shades of pink. To complement the soft cheeks and statement lips is a range of natural eyeshadow hues. The Les 4 Ombres palette comes in two different color schemes, Tissé Fantaisie (coral pink, sea foam green, satin white and brown with copper highlights) and Tissé Paris (slate grey, two rosewoods and ivory).
Hopefully this wonderful line will help you get through the dreary months leading up to spring. Chanel’s Rêverie Parisienne Spring 2015 is the perfect way to transition into sunnier times. Look for the collection in stores on January 19th! DOWNTOWN has had a tough time choosing which are our favorites, we love them all!
