Growing season is here and Battery Urban Farm is giving you the opportunity to pick your own organic crops every week.

Every Thursday from July 3rd to October 31st, participants who register online will have the opportunity to harvest organic crops grown right in Lower Manhattan’s Battery Urban Farm. Located on State Street between Bridge and Pearl Streets, the park has a variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables, enough to last the week for two people.

Participants will not only pick their crops, but they also have the opportunity to learn about how the products are grown and harvested in Lower Manhattan. The event is free, however a donation of $25 per harvest is suggested.

Don’t miss this great opportunity – July has already been filled!

Keep checking the Battery Urban Farm website here for more information. Registration for August will open mid-July.
