The Instrata Lifestyle Residences collection consists of four different buildings located throughout NYC: Midtown West, Gramercy, NoMad and Brooklyn Heights. Each building is specially designed based on the locale, and includes a long list of amenities along with convenience, practicality and luxury. Instrata’s apartments are fully equipped with what everyone looks for in a home: hardwood floors, marble bathrooms, granite countertops, convenient location and picturesque views. They are designed to provide endless comfort for all residents alike. In addition to the beautiful residences, Instrata also provides modern wellness and fitness facilities, rooftop lounges, valet parking, 24-hour attended lobbies and outdoor spaces.

In addition, residents also have access to a full-service, on-call concierge that handles all types of requests. Partnering with Murray’s Cheese, Instrata delivered a one-of-a-kind tasting experience to its residents at only $10 per person. The event was the perfect way to bring people from the different buildings and neighborhoods together and get to know each other.

The event kicked off with participants enjoying a glass of Victory Prima Pilsner while mingling with other guests. The room was laid out beautifully, with each person being provided with a tasting board that displayed six different types of cheeses, and six tasting classes for the different beers.

The class was led by two experts; one in beer, the other in cheese. They encouraged the participants to smell, touch, and of course, taste each selection as we proceeded through the course. It was very informative, and quite interesting to learn not only about the beer and cheese making process, but also how to pair each of the flavors so that they complimented each other. One of my favorite pairings was actually the last selection, which consisted of a creamy goat’s milk blue cheese and Omeggang 3 Philosophers beer, a dark, amber-colored beer.

Murray’s Cheese also offers a variety of other classes that are definitely worth checking out, including a wine & cheese tasting, and a cheese making class!

Overall, the class was a great experience, and one that everyone should at least try!!
