It’s officially summer, which means it’s time for Summer Fridays at Proper West and Manhattan Proper! Both of these up-scale bars/restaurants are offering a Summer Fridays Happy Hour Series that started last Friday, May 22.
NIEUW Group’s Proper West, located at 54 W 39th Street, and Manhattan Proper, 6 Murray Street, are treating their customers to $5 select drafts, $6 wines, and $7 wells every Friday throughout the summer. The perfect way to end a long work week.
The bi-level, trendy, and young professional atmosphere that Proper West emits makes the restaurant and social club the place to be this season. With Executive Chef, Sean De La Rosa, in the kitchen preparing dishes from classic American cuisines to Mediterranean Sea Bass. With the multiple flat screen TV’s lining the walls with lounge seating, Proper West is the perfect place for sports fans and hipsters to come together. The 5,000-square-foot facility with an oversized ground-level dining room, loft-high ceilings, and mezzanine level attracts to the typical New Yorker’s chic crowd.
As for the restaurant and social club, Manhattan Proper, this place furnishes the perfect contrast between modern and antique. Operating everything through iPads and iPhones to maintain exceptional service, the place maintains an antique vibe with old-fashioned chandeliers dangling from the ceiling. With all of these elements integrated, this venue exceeds all expectations for a sophisticated dinner or a night-out. Customers can choose between a comfortable seat at the bar or a table in the dining room to enjoy the eighty-inch LED TV’s presented against the whitewashed brick walls.
Each of these venues offers an entirely fitting setting to kick off the weekend by contributing a relaxing happy hour easing into a lively party scene at night. For those staying in the city, you don’t want to miss out on these summer hot spots!
