Lower Manhattan offers a truly delectable dining experience for all tastes. Urbanites can travel downtown to find cuisines from all over the world, ranging from hole-in-the-wall to high-end. Taking place at 28 Liberty Plaza, Dine Around Downtown will feature dozens of restaurants and cafes from around the area, serving up their signature dishes to hungry festival-goers. Additionally, Food Network star/ notable chef Amanda Freitag will be hosting while promoting her new cookbook The Chef Next Door: A Pro Chef’s Recipes for Fun, Fearless Home Cooking. It will also feature two guest participants from Shanghai, China: Lubolang Restaurant and Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant. The National Jazz Museum in Harlem’s All-Stars will also be playing live music for the crowd’s enjoyment.
