Lower Manhattan with American Flag

This past week, Statue Cruises showcased the best of their summer services across the harbor with a July 2nd tour of Liberty State Park and a July 4th Fireworks Harbor Cruise. Statue Cruises is the “official concessioner to the National Park Service that provides ferry service to Liberty and Ellis Island from Battery Park in Lower Manhattan and Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ.”

The Liberty State Park Tour showed off Statue Cruises’ Liberty Landing Ferry Commuter Service, which provides quick and easy commuter service between Downtown Manhattan and Jersey City. On weekdays, the ferries run between 6 a.m.-8:45 p.m. and 9 a.m.-7.45 p.m. on weekends.

The Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise celebrated Independence Day in style with live music and delicious food. The event also truly emphasized the brand’s link between Manhattan and New Jersey with views of both the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular on the East River and New Jersey’s fireworks show across the Hudson. According to Mike Burke, Statue Cruises’ VP and COO, “With extended hours all summer long, to enhance the visitor experience and accommodate the larger summer crowds, the gateway to America and our symbol of freedom are more accessible than ever before.”

The tour made an extended stop in Liberty State Park in order to give guests the opportunity to take advantage of the many sights that the park has to offer, such as the Empty Sky September 11th Memorial and the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal.
