On Saturday, October 24, Purina Beggin‘ will be sponsoring the 25th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade at the Tompkins Square Park in Alphabet City from noon to 3 pm.

The runway competition begins at noon; after Best In Show is announced, all the costumed contestants and spectators will form a spectacular parade. With thousands of dollars in prizes, visitors can expect some amazing dog costumes!

The Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Parade recognized as one of the largest Halloween costume contest for dogs. This year’s competition will be hosted by stand-up comedian Stephen Glickman and pet fashion designer Ada Nieves.

While admission is free, a $5 donation is required to enter the dog park. All donations will support Friends of First Run, the group that maintains the Tompkins Square Park Dog Run.

All tweets in October using the hashtag #Howloween will donate up to 50,000 bags of Purina Beggin’ to Petfinder shelters around the country, meaning that partaking in the puppy fun will be a great way to give back.
