Bill Telepan, the acclaimed chef of the Upper Westside’s renowned restaurant, Telepan brings his culinary skills to Tribeca with his newest location—Telepan Local which takes inspiration from Spanish tapas and gives it an American twist.

Local, is Telepan’s attempt to enter the neighborhood restaurant business with a homier version of his Upper West Side restaurant.

Telepan is hoping to keep things casual with a relaxed Tapas menu, with meals meant to be shared by the entire table. Main courses will be topped off with treats from pastry chef Larissa Raphael. Save room for her carrot cake!

Among the other tasty treats on the menu are roast beets served in ricotta and honey; a sourdough pizza with bacon, jalapenos, red onion, and mozzarella; shrimp poppers with a green chili aioli, or some lamb tartare with fennel and black olives.

The new location was conceived by the popular interior design firm, Evan and Oliver Haselgrave, creating that more relaxed and easy going attitude.
