Admit it: You’re slightly tired of using the same plates, lamps, and furniture day in and day out. No surprise there. After being cooped up in the apartment for the past four months, it’s no surprise that you want a change of scenery. Instead of hopping on the next plane to Miami, try a more permanent approach.

Making small changes to your environment can drastically improve your mood and boost your productivity. We’re not saying that you have to throw out that vintage couch you found at the Brooklyn Flea, but adding a shaggy throw rug, switching out your dish set, or adding new lighting can make a significant difference.

If you’re thinking of making a few home improvements (and maybe doing a little spring cleaning) this month, might be sure to check out high-end Dutch design company Droog (even the name makes us smile!). Founded in 1993, Droog has been on our radar since they opened their Soho location in 2009. Though the location ultimately closed a couple of years later, we never forgot their chic reinventions of timeless household staples. Initial designs were mash-ups of industrial and everyday materials. Despite changes in design trends throughout the past 20 years, the company has remained true to its original form by constantly collaborating with both established and up-and-coming designers and showcasing their products. Over the years, Droog has also teamed up with a list of other companies to create mind-bending conceptual collections  – commissioners include Levi Strauss and British Airways.

We’re feeling particularly nostalgic for their former Greene St. location, but luckily their amazing products are available online to ship to the United States. Here are a three of our favorite picks:

The ‘Slow Glow‘ lamp is one of Droog’s trademark pieces. Heat melts the vegetable fat inside, making the light brighter and brighter as time goes on.

Give your Keurig a rest and try out this Vacuum Mug. An added bonus? It doesn’t damage the environment.

Simple assembly. Durable build. What more could we ask for from a table?
