A grandiose penthouse in Lower Manhattan has become one of the priciest penthouses in New York City, consisting of 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, and covering an approximate space of 18,000 square feet. The penthouse is located on West Street in Battery Park City atop the Ritz Carlton, with views to almost the entire city from its four terraces.

Ryan Serhant*, one of the three brokers from the well known TV show Million Dollar Listing New York, has listed the penthouse complex at $118.5 Million. The multimillion-dollar penthouse is the highest priced property in downtown Manhattan, out-pricing this $110 million penthouse located in the former Woolworth building.

The extravagant penthouse is composed of a trio of penthouses located on the 39th and 40th floors, now combined into a duplex featuring 20 foot ceilings and at least three kitchens. It is being sold as one unit. One of the penthouses, owned by financier Randall Yankee, was originally listed at $23 million; it features 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The other two penthouses together sum up a total of 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, both owned by Gary Segal and valued at a whopping $56 million.

The penthouse is set to be on the market in November 2014.
