Mushroom Matrix Recipes to Try

Mushrooms contain some of the most potent natural medicines on the planet. Along with possessing anti-inflammatory properties that can improve asthma symptoms and stroke damage, they have been proven to enhance weight loss, improve immune system function and increase nutrition intake. Additionally, cordyceps—a fungus found in several mushroom species, has antitumor, cancer-fighting properties.

Here are quick and easy Mushroom Matrix recipes to try out at home:

Banana Nice Cream

  • 2 large bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 1 cup unsweetened soymilk or almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons smooth almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon Critical Care Matrix
  • Top with your choice of unsweetened coconut, blackberries, raspberries or chia seed

Mix ingredients into a blender and puree, turning off the motor and stirring mixture a couple times until smooth and creamy.

 

Strawberry Balsamic Shroom Dressing

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries
  • 1-2 tablespoon avocado oil, help oil or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Critical Care Matrix
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 – 1 tablespoon raw honey

Puree.

 

Mushroom Power Blueberry Banana Protein Pancakes

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 banana (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon Cordyceps Matrix
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • Dash of cinnamon

Blend all ingredients together and cook them on a skillet.
