The MOMS Network, helmed by Denise Albert and Melissa Musen, together with BigBelli Co. recently hosted a Mamarazzi® breakfast at Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro. The breakfast was held to celebrate a new book by supermodel and celebrity Mom Molly Sims called, The Everyday Supermodel. Though pregnant at the time of the event, Sims appeared glowing, happy, and excited. She recently announced the birth of her daughter Scarlett, who was born on March 26th.

Between her past Sports Illustrated issues, CoverGirl ads and hilarious movie cameos, there is a lot to envy Sims for. The funny, southern model/ actress is also a wife and mother, which makes her a real life example of someone who has it all. But in her new book, she discloses that she was not naturally endowed with her covetable figure or complexion. She has had to work hard and experiment with what diet, exercise and clothing really work for her. Describing herself as “the ultimate guinea pig,” Sims shares the tips that she has adopted throughout her life to become who she is today. She swears to her readers that if they make positive lifestyle choices, how they feel about themselves will translate into how they look. As she states:

If you look good, you feel good —-and when you feel good, you look good!”

In the first half of her book, Sims reveals the diet and exercise rules that she swears by. These tips are particularly useful because they span from techniques that she maintains to achieve her cover-worthy body to methods that she used to get rid of the baby weight from her first pregnancy. Her fitness routines are not only effective, they are also easy to attempt in your own home without a trainer or expensive classes. Other sections include hair, makeup and wardrobe advice to help readers adapt a sophisticated supermodel style. There is even a bridal section where Sims gives style and wellness advice for brides-to-be. She also includes a special section devoted to strategizing to achieve your goals. She encourages and inspires readers to identify exactly what they want out of life and boldly go after it. The Everyday Supermodel is a wonderful celebration of Sims’ success because she not only acknowledges the resources that got her where she is today, she happily shares them with readers so that they can achieve their own success.
