Get ready for pink–October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, meaning that what you purchase can mean a lot for cancer research. Here are some awesome places that are donating proceeds to cancer research and care:

1) Hotel Chantelle (92 Ludlow Street)

The whimsical, French inspired restaurant will be supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by launching its Pink Plates campaign–all dishes will be served on pink plates and the restaurant will be donating $1 per dish to Susan G Komen Greater NYC. They will also be taking direct donations to the foundation.

2) Magnolia Bakery (401 Bleecker Street)

The creative cupcakery will be making it’s pink ribbon cupcake to spread the word about breast cancer and will be giving customers the option to donate to the Breast Treatment Task Force in NYC with every purchase made in-store.

3) Jane Iredale

The natural makeup brand donates to Living Beyond Breast Cancer with the sale of its Smell the Roses Hydration Spray. Jane Iredale products can be purchased at Tribeca Beauty Spa (8 Harrison St), Soho Sanctuary (119 Mercer St, 3S), Great Jones Spa (29 Great Jones St), Bigelow Chemists (414 6th Ave), and more.

4) David Yurman (114 Prince St)

A purchase of the jewelry designer’s Spiritual Beads bracelet made with Guava Quartz ($350) with the option of adding Rhodalite Garnet ($895) will donate 20% of the price to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

5) STK (26 W 12th St)
