This Sunday March 29th, Luna Park in Coney Island opens for the spring and summer seasons. Nothing is more imperative to enjoying the warmer weather than spending your time outdoors and heading to an amusement park. Beginning at noon, the celebration will consist of park goers amassing the lines of roller coasters and playing trivia games with prizes available. Be sure to arrive early because the first 100 people will be granted free access to ride the Cyclone roller coaster.

The weather will be complimentary with sunshine and highs in the upper 40s, making for a great opening day. As for the park, admission is free to all, credits (which you must buy), grant you access to all 29 rides. The opening kicks off with the most iconic ride, the Cyclone, being christened fifteen minutes before opening with champagne, to follow tradition.

Spend the Sunday with family and friends and bask in the beginning of spring the most appropriate way possible, at the Luna Park season opening.
