On Saturday, Jun. 4, Léman Manhattan Preparatory School celebrated its fourth senior graduating class, as well as its 10th academic year anniversary. To mark the graduation and its anniversary, Léman Manhattan Preparatory School had invited Story Musgrave — a NASA scientist-astronaut — to give the new graduates a few word of advice.

In turn, Story Musgrave captivated the attendees with an inspiring speech, and Léman Manhattan Preparatory School was proud to send the graduating class off to their students’ colleges of choice, including Princeton University, Dartmouth College and the University of Virginia.

The graduation also marked the school’s tenth academic year, about which Drew Alexander — head of the school — said: “With graduation, the Léman community celebrates the tremendous accomplishments of our seniors as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. Students leave Léman confident, engaged critical thinkers, ready to have a positive impact on their communities and beyond. It is a proud day for Léman students, parents, faculty and staff as we celebrate our fourth graduating class and a decade of delivering a truly international education in New York City.”
