On Thursday, Oct. 27, the Museum Of Jewish Heritage’s Real Estate and Allied Trades Division will host a luncheon to honor Larry and Klara Silverstein, their children Lisa and Roger, Silverstein and Lisa’s husband Tal Kerret for their exemplary commitment to the Museum and the preservation of Jewish heritage.

“The Museum of Jewish Heritage is delighted to recognize our beloved Trustee Larry Silverstein and his family, whose extraordinary contributions to building our city has ensured that the Museum’s neighborhood of Lower Manhattan will have an enduring legacy for generations to come,” said Bruce C. Ratner, Museum Chairman.

Larry and Klara Silverstein’s strong sense of humanity is demonstrated by an extraordinary commitment to philanthropy in education, health care, and a thriving Jewish communal life, including their long term involvement with the Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust,” said George Klein, Museum Trustee.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage Real Estate and Allied Trades Division is co-founded by Museum Trustees Bruce C. Ratner (Forest City Ratner Companies), George Klein (Park Tower Group), Peter S. Kalikow (H.J. Kalikow &a Co.), and Larry Silverstein (Silverstein Properties).

“My family and I are delighted to support the launch of the Real Estate and Allied Trades Division of this incredible Museum,” said Larry A. The Inaugural Real Estate and Allied Trades Luncheon honoring the Silverstein family runs from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Oct. 27 at 4 World Trade Center. Individual tickets are available beginning at $1,000. Contributions at the $10,000 level and above grant Division Membership with benefits that include Luncheon tickets and a journal ad, and corporate level Museum affiliation.
