2. Craft Beer Fest
Lexington Armory (Flatiron)
Friday, Oct. 14 from 8-10:30pm; Saturday, Oct. 15 from 2-4:30pm and 7-9:30pm
You’re in a for a real brewer’s treat at the NYC Craft Beer Festival. Over 75 breweries from across the country will be pouring their limited release and seasonal selections. Tickets start at $55.

3. Ludovico Einaudi Live
NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (Greenwich Village)
Monday, Oct. 17 – Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 PM
Those looking for a truly unique listening experience must see Italian alt-classical composer/pianist Ludovico Einaudi in concert. He’ll be playing works from his latest album, Elements. Tickets start at $69.
4. Past, Present and Future of the NYC Subway

5. Taste of the Seaport

Nothing beats an afternoon spent at the South Street Seaport. This Saturday come (re)discover the culinary delights of Lower Manhattan. Over 40 restaurants will be offering sampling from their sweet and savory menus. $35 for five tastings.

If you never been to this one-of-a kind shop in the East Village, Halloween is the perfect excuse to browse and stock up on some seriously cool, weird and old school candy: Turkish Taffy, Bubble Gum Cigars and Cigarettes, Candy Buttons, Push Pop, Charleston Chew, Big League Chewing Gum, Cry Baby Tears and our personal favorites: Shakespearean Insult Gum, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and Pop Rocks! The kids in your apartment building with thank you, if the candy even makes it that far.
