Free Outdoor TBT-Themed Movie Nights in Union Square

The Union Square Partnership is proud to announce the return of free movie nights for its Citi Summer in the Square series with “Throwback Thursday” themed movie nights in August on the North Plaza in Union Square Park.

Beginning tonight on Aug 3rd, the Citi Summer in the Square is kicking the special screenings of 1980’s classics off right with a showing of “The Karate Kid.” On Aug 10th, they will show “Back to the Future.” Seating will open at 6:30 PM each night and movies begin at dusk.

Along with enjoying your TBT favorites, the first 500 attendees each evening will enjoy popcorn from Pret A Manger and seat cushions courtesy of title sponsor Citibank®.

Please bring a blanket or mat to sit on. Please note, alcohol is not permitted in the park.
