Cool Mess
For those of you that couldn’t sweet-talk your way into the Museum Of Ice Cream — actually, we have no idea how anyone got in, since tickets seemed to sell out the second the sales went live — we’ve got a tasty alternative that has summer fun written all over it.
Cool Mess was designed with kids in mind, but we were not the only adults unaccompanied by children during our visit. As it turns out, making your own ice cream is as quick — or torturously long, if you’re under the age of 12 — as eight minutes worth of pouring the cream and three ingredients of your choosing into the table-top ice cream makers.
Located atop a Burger Heaven, you can order anything off of their menu — cough, french fries, cough — and have it delivered right to your table…So while the city continues to function like one big hot mess during these dog days of summer, we highly recommend coming in to make a cool one.
