The Faraday FF91: A Look to The Future of Electric Vehicles

by | Mar 15, 2018 | Featured, News, Technology

With advancing technology and the ever-growing presence of electric vehicles on the road, another one popping up on the market shouldn’t be much of a hot topic. However, with the specs boasted by the Faraday FF91, it is.

Judging by aesthetics alone, you can tell that the all-electric FF91 SUV is something special. Its modern styling, sharp features and aerodynamic design easily stand out from other vehicles on the market, let alone just the electric ones. Faraday sites the reason for this styling as being inspired by the technology, stating their flagship model “embodies [their] latest mobility advancements in performance, intelligence, and user experience. This is the reason why we gave FF 91 a future-forward design that visually sets it apart from anything else on the road.”

A one-of-a-kind look isn’t the only thing different about the FF91. This SUV is the fastest-accelerating electric vehicle in the world. Obliterating Tesla’s former record of 2.5 seconds, the FF91 goes from 0-60mph in just 2.39. With its three motors and 1,050 horsepower, this all-electric powerhouse is for environmentalists and adrenaline junkies alike.

But pretty looks and explosive power aren’t all that’s offered by the Faraday FF91. This revolutionary SUV features an intuitive user experience with its FFID technology. “Your unique FFID profile encompasses an extensive range of your driving preferences and content choices,”  according to the manufacturer.

With the space saved by the use of a modern, streamlined drivetrain, the FF91 doesn’t skimp on legroom. The interior is designed to allow the driver to relax, even going so far as to feature ventilated, massaging seats to help work out the kinks while you cruise to work.

Where can you get your hands on one of these? Well, you can’t – yet. The FF91 was revealed at last year’s International Consumer Electronics Show and is scheduled to begin production this year. Production models aren’t yet available for purchase, but you can reserve one now on their website.
