The “Instant Classic” @ FREEHOLD is a 70’s dance party inspired, five part live music series event featuring a rotating five piece “house band collective” and will include guest appearances from members of notable bands such as The Knocks, LCD Soundsystem, St. Lucia, WET, Sinkane, Midnight Magic, Blue Detiger, VHS Collection, Holy Ghost, Delsonido, Cole Ramstad, and Escort. Each live show is focused around the genres of funk, disco and sounds of the late 70’s & early 80’s, will include an opening act by a notable local DJ to get the party loose, and will close with a world touring DJ who will have partygoers getting down on the dance floor.

The first Instant Classic event of the season will take place on Valentine’s Day and will feature a DJ set by Finn Jones, who is also the actor who played Loras Tyrell on Game of Thrones.

Past performances have included Gary Clark Jr., Misterwives, Buddy, The Knocks, St. Lucia & more. The series will consist of five shows beginning February 14, 2019 through to end of Spring. Doors open at 8pm. Free to attend,  RSVP@freeholdbrooklyn.com is required.
