Ronit Genik founded Reverie NY based on the theme of daydreaming. The noun reverie describes a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts, and to Genik, this symbolizes her inspiration from nature and shapes. Although whimsical, Genik’s garments also have an edge with unexpected cuts and use of sheer fabric.

The full list of brands participating in the exhibition is available online.

In addition to the showcase of fashion, Fashion Night Out serves a beneficial cause; raising funds to assist Freedom Ladder’s fight to end child exploitation. Freedom Ladder is a non-profit organization that is committed to empowering children.

Fashion Night Out is not the first collaboration between the Set NYC and Freedom Ladder. The two organizations have hosted numerous fashion-orientated events together to raise funds towards Freedom Ladder’s cause.

DJ Joe Terra will mix music and Noel’s Catering Kitchen will cater the event. Tickets are $20 at the door, but can be purchased for $15 online. For the location and more information, visit The Set’s Eventbrite page.
