Elie Hirschfeld captures historic New York Athletic Club Indoor Marathon.

Renowned New York developer and real estate icon, Elie Hirschfeld took the coveted top position in the Plus-60 Division this past weekend’s historic New York Indoor Triathlon hosted by the venerated New York Athletic Club.

Hirschfeld, who has been a longtime member of the club, is a veteran of more than 100 triathlons, was participating in his first-ever indoor competition.

“This was a truly proud moment in my long history of triathlon competitions,” says the storied developer whose iconic properties have included; Riverside South, The Grand Sutton, Park Avenue Court, The Hotel Pennsylvania and The Exchange Tower.

The NYAC has been long respected for the level of competitions and athletes it has sponsored over the years and to have this level of success at my age, is truly humbling to me,” says the TK-Year-old Hirschfeld. “I cannot have more respect for this institution and the athletes that I competed against.”

The NYAC’s 197-year-history features athletes who have garnered 119 Olympic gold medals, 53 silver medals, and 59 bronze medals among its members.
