Lauren Santo Domingo is the co-founder of Moda Operandi and contributing editor at Vogue. Lauren launched Moda Operandi in 2010 with Icelandic business woman and entrepreneur, Aslaug Magnusdottir. Moda Operandi is an online fashion retailer that allows the customers to view and purchase their favorite looks straight from the runway. It’s a unique and instantaneous shopping experience.

Santo Domingo is considered one of the “100 Most Influential New Yorker’s of the Past 25 years” by the New York Observer. She has been photographed by Annie Leibovitz, Tom Munro, and Mario Testino.

Santo Domingo is also a muse and friend of the well-known designer duo Proenza Schouler. Her style is exquisitely curated with the best pieces from designers such as DelPozo, Nina Ricci by Olivier Theyskens and Dolce & Gabbana. For Santo Domingo, clothes are just a complement to her natural elegance and beauty.

Santo Domingo comes from a very influential and respected family; she is the daughter of Ronald V. Davis, the former CEO of Perrier America, and the artist Judy Davis. She married Colombian business magnate Andres Santo Domingo in Cartagena in 2008. At her wedding, Santo Domingo wore not only one wedding dress but two, both by Olivier Theyskens for Nina Ricci. Vogue called it “the wedding of the year“.

Santo Domingo lives in New York City with her husband and two children. You can follow Lauren on Instagram: @TheLSD
