If Friends was your favorite sitcom throughout the 90’s and early 2000’s (we know it was ours) then we have exciting news for you. To mark the 20th year since the iconic sitcom premiered, Warner Bros and Eight O’Clock Coffee have teamed up to create an exact replica of the Central Perk coffee shop featured in the show and it’s coming to Manhattan from September 17th to October 18th.

The pop-up coffee shop will feature the exact couch from the show that customers can sit on and the actor James Michael Taylor, who played Gunther the grouchy waiter on the series will make frequent appearances. This time however, he will not be there to serve, but instead to sip coffee alongside fans (we have heard he is significantly less grouchy than his character!)

Free coffee will be given to the customers and the shop will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. So head over to 199 Lafayette St. in SoHo to get a feel for the well-loved coffee shop from friends.
